Right Hunch

Right Hunch is a small, free, independently-run project — not a company with a dedicated legal or privacy team. This page describes plainly what data we collect and what we do with it.

What we collect

Your email address and password (handled by our auth provider, Supabase — we never see your raw password)
A display name you choose
The leagues you create or join, and the predictions you submit
Your timezone, used to time reminder emails correctly
Your notification preferences

What we don't collect

No payment information — Right Hunch is free and doesn't process money. No tracking/advertising cookies.

How we use it

To run the core product — leagues, predictions, standings
To send you the emails you've opted into: deadline reminders and round-result digests
Match fixtures and results come from football-data.org, a third-party sports data provider

We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with advertisers.

Who else sees it

A few service providers we rely on to run Right Hunch:

Supabase — database and authentication
Resend — sends the emails described above
Cloudflare — hosting

Other members of a league you're in can see your display name and your predictions — but only for matches that have already kicked off. Your predictions for upcoming matches stay private to you until then, so no one can copy your pick.

Deleting your data

You can permanently delete your account and everything tied to it — profile, predictions, league memberships — from the account page. If you created a league others are still using, reach out first — there's no automatic way to hand off or delete a league yet.
